La scurt timp după ce a fost eliberat din închisoare după 25 de ani, cap-ul mafiot din New York Dwight „Generalul” Manfredi este exilat sumar de șeful său pentru a se stabili în Tulsa, Oklahoma. Realizând că familia sa mafiotă ar putea să nu aibă la inimă interesele sale cele mai bune, Dwight își construiește încet o „echipă” dintr-o distribuție de personaje improbabile care să-l ajute să construiască un nou imperiu criminal.

It's all hands on deck as tensions between Dwight's crew and Waltrip escalate past the point of no return. Elsewhere, a flashback reveals what sent Dwight to prison 25 years ago.
In season two, Dwight and his crew continue to build up and defend their growing empire in Tulsa but, just as they get their bearings, they realize that they're not the only ones who want to stake their claim. With looming threats from the Kansas City mob and a very powerful local businessman, Dwight struggles to keep his family and crew safe while keeping track of all his affairs. Plus, he still has unfinished business back in New York.
